The Animal Protection Association of South Carolina received a report that a dog kept barking, and people thought it was injured. However, when people from the Animal Protection Association found it, they were shocked. The dog actually raised an abandoned cat by itself.
When the report was first received, search and rescue officer Mike was in charge of the search. When Mike found the valley, he found a black and white dog tangled in thorns and injured. In addition, there was actually an unharmed kitten that was well cared for by the dog, so Mike took them both back to the shelter.
After being brought back to the shelter, the dog and the cat will eat and sleep together every day. The kitten will look at the dog in a daze. After each meal, the dog will also lick the kitten's mouth clean. It is understood that the dog is 5 years old and the cat is 5 weeks old. Because the dogs don’t have enough breast milk, volunteers at the shelter will also feed the kittens, and the kittens will sleep on the dogs at noon.
