A false alarm! Guardian: Arsenal is optimistic about Maduaike s quick comeback

The Guardian reported that Arsenal was optimistic about Maduaike's quick comeback.

Maduaike left the court with a knee injury against Manchester City, and he is scheduled to be tested on Monday, with the club hoping the injury will not be severe enough to require a long-term absence.

Arsenal has lost Havertz due to a knee injury, and Odgao also missed the game against Manchester City due to a shoulder injury, and Saka was also absent for a month due to a hamstring injury.

Maduaike joined from Chelsea for £48.5 million this summer, and was able to fill the right-hand position while Saka was out of the game. Arsenal added depth of lineup offensively after suffering from injuries last season, but Arteta's available resources have been tested.

Saka returned as a half-time substitute in the 1-1 draw against Manchester City, replacing Maduaike.

If the 23-year-old Maduaike is absent for a long time, it will deal a considerable blow to Arsenal's hopes for the championship. Maduaike has started well since Chelsea joined and has performed well for England during the last international match day, scoring a goal in the national team's 5-0 victory over Serbia earlier this month. Arsenal has initially optimistic that he will be able to return quickly.
