According to a statement released by Jinxing on Monday (June 9), the company signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Singapore Energy Interconnections (SGEI). Singapore Energy Connectivity Company was established in April this year to focus on building, owning and operating regional power interconnection. The company has been appointed by the Singapore government to be responsible for cross-border power infrastructure.
Offshore and maritime company Kim Heng, which is listed on Kelly Board, announced that it has signed an agreement with Singapore Energy Internet to cooperate in the development of subsea power projects.
Jin Xing pointed out that the cooperation covers the operation, repair and maintenance of subsea power cable systems in the ASEAN region.
The statement said that the memorandum of understanding will continue to be valid until June 1, 2028, or expire when the parties sign a final agreement or terminate the memorandum through consensus.
