
Singapore stock market opened higher on Tuesday (May 20). As of 9:15 am, the Straits Times index rose 0.28% or 10.99 points to 3887.19 points.
There were 16 overseas stocks rising, with YZJ Shipbuilding leading the market, rising 1.85% to 2.20 yuan; followed by Hongkong Land, rising 1.37% to 5.17 US dollars.
In terms of falling stocks, Thai Beverage fell the most, falling 1.06% to 0.47 yuan, while other stocks fell less than 1%.
