Newcastle coach Eddie Howe was interviewed by the BBC a few days ago and talked about Isaac again.
Eddie Howe said: "I think these transfer news are not healthy for us. I don't deny that this is a huge challenge. In my opinion, Isaac is one of the best strikers in the world, even the best one. The lack of such a player will make a huge gap in the lineup."
"The morale in the early stages of pre-season preparations has indeed been affected, and I can't do anything about it. This is inevitable. When there are such excellent players on the team, it is difficult for the players to fully understand the status quo and do not know how to deal with it."
"But over time, everyone has accepted the reality. This is our lineup, and we must do our best. This has always been my thinking. No matter what situation we are in, we must find a solution. You can only control what you can. We have already looked forward and we must say that the atmosphere in the locker room in the past two weeks is very good."
