Brighton veteran Milner is 39 years old. In an interview with the club's official media recently, he talked about the team's help and guidance to young players.
He said: "Our locker room atmosphere is very good - Captain Dunk and Steele have been here for a long time, and there are also people like Welbeck, Webster, etc. They have created a very good environment that can help young players adapt and mature quickly and make them comfortable.
"You have to teach them not only how to be a professional player, but also how to live as a professional player and how to behave correctly. They make mistakes on and off the court. You need to be patient with them and be as open as possible.
"I have made mistakes and have seen other players make mistakes - many talented young players may not be able to achieve their full potential for various reasons. If you realize this, you will be willing to help young people develop their careers better.
"It's not just the players, but the coaching team is also guiding young people what is the 'Brighton way' and how to do it better. The head coach has been here for a year, and you can see from the way we play that everyone knows their responsibilities and how excellent guidance we have received.
"We have proven that we can beat any opponent when we are in good shape, and the season is still long. As the game progresses, I believe we will get stronger and stronger."
