Chelsea officially announced that Garnacho joined. Germany transferred to count the ranking of players' sales revenue in Manchester United's history. The 46.2 million euros earned by the sale of Garnacho ranked fourth in team history. Chelsea officially confirmed to sign 21-year-old Garnacho. It is reported that the Blues will pay Manchester United a transfer fee of 46.2 million euros, including a 10% second transfer share clause. The two clubs finally reached an agreement after weeks of negotiations. In Chelsea's 2-0 victory over Fulham, Garnacho appeared at Stamford Bridge to watch the game.

Garacho signed a contract with Chelsea for a seven-year period until 2032 after passing a physical examination on Thursday local time. Garnacho's relationship with coach Amorin broke down after the UEFA Cup final and decided to switch to Stamford Bridge this summer. In Maresca's preferred 4-3-3 formation, the 21-year-old Garnacho will compete with Gittens and Neto for the starting position of the left winger. The deal has also become a high-priced sales case in Manchester United's history.

In 2020, 16-year-old Garnacho joined Manchester United from Atletico Madrid for a transfer fee of only 465,000 euros, so his transfer to Chelsea will bring huge profits to the Red Devils. More importantly, Garnacho's registration status to train players for local areas is crucial to the Premier League's Profit and Sustainable Development Rules (PSR). Garnacho has played in 144 games for Manchester United and participated in 48 goals (26 goals and 22 assists). He will strive to improve offensive efficiency at Chelsea and achieve continuous progress.

Drive Transfers posted the ranking of Manchester United's players' income, and Garnacho became the fourth highest-priced player in Manchester United's history with a transfer fee of 46.2 million euros. It surpassed the 37.5 million euros when Beckham joined Real Madrid in 2003. Ronaldo's transfer to Real Madrid for 94 million euros in 2009 is still the highest selling price record in Manchester United's history. Germany said that it is very likely that no one can surpass it in the short term.
