For iodine wine stains, you can first soak them with starch (the starch will immediately turn black when it encounters iodine), and then gently wash them off with soapy water. Light iodine stains can be wiped with hot water or alcohol, or potassium iodide solution. The thick stains can be soaked in a warm solution of 15-20% baking soda for about 2 hours, and then rinsed with clean water.
When clothes are dyed with iodine, alcohol or potassium iodide can be used to remove them. Add 5-7 grams of potassium iodide to 100 ml of water, and rinse the clothes after removing the stain with potassium iodide solution with clean water. You can also soak the clothes dyed with iodine in hot water or a hot solution of 15%-20% concentration of baking soda (sodium thiosulfate) for 2 hours to completely dissolve the stain and remove the clothes. You can also apply water starch paste to the stain. When the stain appears black, wash it with detergent and finally rinse it clean.
